The Dryer was Framed!

So I was doing my laundry one day and thinking about how everyone blames the dryer for eating socks and decided that there is no way it is the dryers fault. I think a more likely suspect is the washer. Think about it, don't you agree that the washer probably ate the sock? Here's my thinking: the washer has the agitator where the sock can get stuck under or if you have one of those new-fangled washers like my mom does the sock could get stuck in the lip part of the washer. Plus, the dryer is nice and make the clothes all dry and warm and snuggly whereas the washer basically beats the dirt out of them. Yep, the dryer was framed.

I need to study, but...I procrastinate. So, I was looking up random things and happened upon a website and looked up something and came upon something else that reminded me of when I was little and would watch Mr. Rogers and came upon this delightful little page that has a bunch of songs from the show. One of my favorites that I just listened to was You Can Never Go Down the Drain isn't that just dang reassuring. I was worried. Also, this song is great, I especially like the part about riding a bicycle.

There are some great messages that came from that show. You just can't beat Mr. Rogers. 

It really is a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Fall is definitely in the air (literally in the air because my asthma/allergies are making it so I don't get any!) The beautiful fall weather is making me want to do fall things like go on a hike up the canyon, jump in piles of leaves, wear sweaters and hats, make soup and pumpkin flavored things. YUM! 

The Delta Girls

So Mom is AWESOME and played Softball in the Huntsman Senior World Games this past weekend. I find that uploading pictures to blogger is sort of annoying and this way I only had to upload one, so click on it and zoom in. :) I dare say that Mom had one of the biggest cheering sections for her at the games (that I saw at least) Mom hit a HOME RUN, caught a long throw home as catcher to get someone out and WIN a game and did AMAZING in the outfield. She also tore her hamstring and has a pretty purple bruise. So all in all I think the weekend was successful. She did awesome and we had a lot of fun being entertained by the situation. 

They call it softball, makes it sound like it's harmless, you know. You ever take a line shot to the face with a softball? You don't go "Hey, that's Downy Soft. That was like a big ball of cotton!
