No Sugar March

Okay, so if you know me at all you know that I am probably a little too addicted to sugar. Yep, I admitted it. That is the first step, right? I crave basically anything with that particular white powdery stuff. This would be all fine and good if sugar loved me as much as I love it, but alas (ha, I just used the word alas!) it doesn’t. It continually likes to make me be a little bit more round and fluffy than I would really like to be, now if I were a cake or a cookie or some other confectionary goodness that would be great, but I am definitely not one of those, even though I am starting to resemble them.

At this point you are probably wondering what the point of this tirade is, well I am going to try and go off refined sugar for the month of March. GASP! Shocker, I know.. This means that I am going to try really hard not to eat refined sugar.  I am still going to eat fruits and naturally occurring sugars and some natural sugar substitutes are okay in moderation and maybe have one day a week be a free day(I I have to have something sweet. I might go crazy if I don’t have any sweets at all). So

So here is the deal. My lovely, awesome, wonderful people (and by people, I mainly mean roommates) you have to help me. When I am standing in the kitchen wanting to make cupcakes or brownies or something, you need to tell me no. I know, this goes against all instincts and you never agreed to go on the no-sugar thing with me. But I think it could be good to see that I CAN and WILL survive without copious amounts of sugar running through my bloodstream.

Okay, I think I beat that topic to a pulp.
