Don't You Wish Life Had A Soundtrack?

Mine did today. It was sort of fun. My alarm clock went off and my mind radio started playing this song by Jason Mraz.

Next on my mind radio came the song from Aida  titled "Strongest Suit" . It may have had something to do with the fact I couldn't decide what to wear. I can't find a good link to this song.
Then in the car on the way to work Brittni played a song by She & Him (it was not this song, but there isn't a music video on YouTube)

The playlist I listened to at work was fun and had a little bit of George Strait and Chris Cagle and such but this song was my favorite for the morning part of my work day:

And then my Zen decided to mix it up a little and play some comedy stuff so I listened to a little bit of this by Jerry Seinfeld

Then on my walk to class I had the Jason Mraz song replay in my head. (See the wake up part of the day) I think that this made a replay because Cedar City decided to be warm for a minute. It was seriously beautiful and I wished I could stay outside instead of going to my class.
I can't recall any specific song from class, but as you can tell from this post, I usually have one song or another stuck in my head. This is probably why I don't absorb as much as I should in class.)

Then I went back to work and listened to some more country music such as this, this, and this.

By this time it is 6:30 and I am frantically trying to finish a project for the auditors that are going to seven of the agencies next week. This project has been ongoing and it is almost finished. I am so happy about this and this song is playing.

Then I go pick up Brittni and listened to some more She & Him. Zoey Deschanel is the She in She & Him. She is a really good singer and actress and the little sister of Emily Deschenel who is Temperance Brennan on Bones.

Then we drive home and there wasn't any music in the kitchen while I eat dinner, but we drove to Golden Spoon for frozen yogurt (I highly recommend the pomegranate flavor. YUM!)  and listened to some songs by She &Him (did I mention that their new album came out today) and came home and watched the music video and watched this Vampire Weekend Video.

We also watched some music videos by Pomplamoose. They are amazing, two people do all of the instrumentals and vocals.

Anyway, there is my musical day. I actually did get some work done, contrary to how this looks. It is just not as fun to blog about how I did consolidation spreadsheets and trained people how to do bank reconciliations and apply insurance payments into accounting systems and how bored I was in Ethics and what I learned about mediation in my negotiations class. Oh, does anyone want to write my book report? Anyone? Okay, talk to you later, I need to finish reading my book and listen to some new music.

Life is like a box of crayons.  Most people are the eight-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back.  I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing.  It's okay though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal.  I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the eight-color boxes.  Does anyone else have that problem?  I mean, there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation, so when I meet someone who's an eight-color type I'm like, "hey girl, magenta!" and she's like, "oh, you mean purple!" and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, "no - I want magenta!"  ~John Mayer
