The Past Three Weeks

Apparently there are more people that read this than I thought. People keep telling me that I need to update (you should comment or at least click on the little boxes at the end), but in my defense I have been a little busy. Do you want to know all of the things that have happened in the last 3 weeks? I am going to tell you anyway.

In birthday news some of my favorite people have had birthdays in the last few weeks and I wasn't able to celebrate with most of them, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY Janie, Grandpa Coats, and Grandpa Johnson!

Nicole Pace (my roommate) and I had the same birthday! Apparently it is an excellent day to be born. My friends apparently understand my desire to be a princess (or to be a little kid, take your pick) and we had a fun party with lots of friends and fun while I wore a tiara and waved a wand while sucking on a ring pop. I also received a Snow Cone maker, books,a coloring book, and a few other fun things. We can totally have another party and have snow cones ( I now have more fun flavors. YUM!)

I graduated with my Masters in Accountancy and went to commencement on April 31 and the School of Business graduation on May 1. YAY!!!! I am finished!!!

On the following Monday I started a new job at LearnKey in Cedar City. So far it has been really good and will help me to prepare to take the CPA exam. Plus, I get to work with Brittni and a bunch of really fun people.

I rode my bike in the Goldilocks bike ride up in Herriman and the surrounding areas 30 miles. The day could be summed up in two words: hills and car-keys. It was a really good day for a bike ride with lots of hills and after we got to hang out with Jan and Mel for a while because some keys got lost. Good times.

Sunday was Mothers Day and I just have to say that I think that some of the best moms on earth were at my house. I hope that you had a good day Mom, Grandma, Grandma, Mindy, and Angelia (okay so she is not quite a mom but will be in a few months) To make the day even better I got to talk to Michael. (Shout out to Mike, you are awesome and I LOVE YOU) I found out that he can read this. Does this count as a letter to him every week? Hmm...interesting. Just kidding. I will still write you...probably. He is doing well in Alabama and is hanging out with some hicks from the sticks. (I can say that because I am pretty sure that I am also a hick)

On
Monday we went to St. George to get some stuff to make our house cute. I am going to redo a table and chairs this week. That will probably be my next post.

So there is the update on my life. I was sort of busy and got intimidated by all the things that needed to be posted. Maybe next time it won't be so long and it won't be three weeks away.

  1. I especially like the mention of the lost keys... at least we got to spend some quality time together in the car.
