I Want to Ride My Bike

I have the best of intentions. I sign up for these really long bike rides with the full intention that I will immediately start training and that I will be in great shape long before the event. Then life happens. Where did the last month go? I have to ride my bike 60 miles in a month. Yep. SIXTY. Have I ridden my bike more than 10 miles in the past month? Nope. Am I going to die on May 8th during the Goldilocks bike ride? YES. You are all invited to my funeral. It will probably be a small service at the Holden ward building. My family will give you the rest of the details.

Seriously, I need to exercise. Because even if I don't die doing Goldilocks, I am signed up for Little-Red and the Greenwood Triathlon. Can I blame part of this situation on the wind? I know that Chicago has the nick-name but I think they should really give the title of "Windy City" to Cedar City. Just sayin'...

Anyone want to go on a bike ride with me?

You never have the wind with you - either it is against you or you're having a good day. ~Daniel Behrman
