Relay for Life

2 pans of peanut butter bars, 5 pans of rice crispies, and 112 banana cupcakes were baked in our house tonight. On a regular day this would mean that somebody had a bad day...but today we are baking for a cause. Tomorrow is Relay for Life in Cedar City and Brittni is helping with a bake sale and walking the SUU track tomorrow night to help combat cancer. It is a great cause and if you want to donate here is the information stolen from Brittni's Facebook message.

Hi Everyone,

This year our office is participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The Relay is a global event. Each team takes turns walking or running around the track, a member of the team must be represented on the track at all times for 24 hours.

In addition, we are each asked to gather donations for the society, my personal goal is $100, but I hope to be able to get more donations. With the donations we earn, the American Cancer Society will be able to help people stay well, help those who are
currently fighting, find cures, and fight back.

I am really excited about being able to participate in this event. We can dedicate our own individual walks to someone we know who has battled with cancer, I am dedicating mine to my Grandpa Traynor.

Please donate to this cause.

You can do so by following the steps below:

1. http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=pfind&fr_id=21756\nshar
ed
2. Click the Relay for Life box at the bottom of the Web page
3. Type, 84720 in the Zip code field
4. Click Relay for Life Cedar City

6. If my name is not already in the fields: Type my name, Brittni Traynor, into the
designated fields
7. Click my name, Traynor, Brittni Team The Big LK
8. Click the Donate button

This is such a great cause. Cancer is unfortunately becoming something that is creeping into all of our lives, one way or another, whether it be ourselves, family, loved ones, or friends, we will all be affected.

Every penny helps, so if it is even only a penny, please donate it!

I'm the walkingest girl around.  I like to work at it - really get my heart pounding.  ~Amy Yasbeck
